Deep Ocean

  As one of biggest fans of Alexander McQueen, I can't deny this is the best collection in my heart in Paris Fashion Week so far. So I really had to post this in my blog, although I'm in the middle of mid-term period, assignment tsunami. Last night was totally disaster. My unknown rattle nash has broken out again, I couldn't sleep at night because of itchness until I took a little pill. So I saw an #hashtag, Let's talk iphone(I thought there would be mention about iPhone5 but nah...), So I decided to watch liveblog about it.(I don't know why I even watched that.) Anyway, come on, some changes were quite interesting but there was no iPhone5, but the iPhone4S with no design change. I was totally dying from itchness then I saw tweets about McQueen. So I clicked NOWFASHION with my sleepy face with my pajama on, guess what, I became not sleepy anymore as soon as I saw the collection.

I can feel they did really hard work from the details. The metalic feather dress moves like glowing grayish ocean waves. And the leather, which was cut beautifully, has fetism but also romantism, laces with see-through detail moves so naturally(You guys need to see it!), headgear made of feather, lace, metalic meterial looks fanstastical. In fact, the patterns and the color palette of this collection reminds me underwater creature somehow from the light purple jacket and dresses, coral colors....Also, Orange colour dress' detail looks like totally 'seaweeds' from deep depp sea. And plus there are some middle-age elements(It's McQueen.), I think. Also the silhouette of shoulder, waist and hips was so McQueen itself. Sarah Burton, the creative director of McQueen, doing her best after Lee gone, I just want to tell her "Brava, Burton! You are the BEST".

My FAVORITE look was... THIS. ABSOLUTELY YES YES YES! So...fantastic.
